Short Summary

In the summer of 1957, the Indiana towns of French Lick and West Baden decided to merge two high schools that had been fierce rivals for decades. The ten boys and their 25 year old coach became a microcosm of the two towns, teaching its citizens how to come together as one united community.

After winning 25 consecutive games, being the one undefeated team in Indiana, the Hawks face their greatest challenge in the Final Four match up - only 4 years after Milan's ("Hoosiers") 1954 championship. Facing their first defeat, the towns experience a far greater win - becoming one community.
