The Last Rose of Summer is the story of Mandy Stewart's life. She grows up on a tobacco farm with her parents and brothers Josh and Arch. She is happy though she works hard on the farm. At the beginnig of WWII her brothers leave and then her dies. Her father begins to abuse her which causes the tragedy.
