Accuracy of Book Profile
Yes, it's accurate, but Trip is not the villain of the story. He can cause some conflicts in Layla, but it doesn't make him the story's villain.
Draw of Story
The narrative is very informal and easy to follow. The first-person account produces complicity between protagonist and reader, making us engage in the story right away.
Possible Drawbacks
The situations in the book are very similar. Despite being young people craving fun, many scenes take place in party environments, making the narrative repetitive. It would be great to see more varied situations and actions.
Use of Special Effects
THE STORY DOES NOT RELY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS
Primary Hook of Story
The hook is the way the characters lead with transformations in their lives at a time when everything seems intense and urgent. This growing feeling that is not easy to deal with, the discovery of new feelings and new experiences. It's a phase that stirs up a whirlwind of emotions, and causes the story's conflicts.
Fanbase Potential
It can attract teenagers and young adults who are going through this transformational phase.
Awards Potential
The narrative would need more development on structure and drama for a more complex plot in order to win awards.
Envisioned Budget
LOW BUDGET

What’s New About the Story
There is nothing very original about this story. Maybe the fact that Layla was abandoned by her mother. But other than that, it's a typical teenage love story.
Lead Characters
Layla is an interesting girl. She is persistent, allows herself to live experiences, and speaks her mind. She's funny, has good dialogue, and, despite being a teenager who falls in love in the film, she is not portrayed as the romanticized young woman we usually see. The other characters would need a little more development because they all sound very similar. Mostly Lisa. Because she has so much relevance to the story, she would need to have further character and plot development.
Uniqueness of Story
It is not. The story would need some element to differentiate it from so many others already made.

Analyst Recommendation
WORK IN PROGRESS
Justification
While the story has many positive points, it has room for improvement (see possible paths below). If you can't change the story at this point, my suggestion is using your notes as a guide to highlight the best aspects of it when taking the next steps, either putting a pitch page together, a treatment, or a presentation.
Tips for Improvement
First, it needs an element that made it memorable, that made it stand out in the midst of so many love stories. It's a love story between two teenagers who will end up choosing different cities to study, and will drift apart. Many movies and series already have this same premise. If the plot is not that diverse, then the characters, the interactions between friends, the love relationship, or the narrative's tone could be more original to stand out. It would be interesting to see a little more drama and conflict among these young people. Basically, they suffer from disappointments about love and difficulties at school, but it would be nice to open the range and see them beyond that. The repetitive party scenes are tired. It's nice to introduce the characters' routines, and young adults in high school go to parties, but having like four parties during the narrative sounds tiresome and repetitive. More significant variations in scenes and situations can make for a more interesting and different narrative. Romance takes a long time to pick up. It's nice this expectation of "will they get together?" However, it's a bit obvious from the start that they will, so it seems like it takes a long and unnecessarily time for us to see them together. There's a good hook for the sequel/second season, but maybe it would be more interesting to end with a disappointment or something that raises the audience's curiosity.
