Short Summary

After a long, grueling basic training at Fort sill, OK, Private Boney is Deployed to Bagdad, Iraq with the 1st Calvary Division for combat operations. Boney gets attached to an Infantry squad to eliminate insurgents inside the cemetery and city of Najaf where his team endures intense gunfights.


After 14 months of combat operations, Private Boney returns to Fort Hood, Texas with his unit. After battling with nightmares and suicidal thoughts, he is discharged out of the Army. Boney finds God, love and has a daughter, that helps him learn that Family, Love, a Faith can keep him alive.
