Spooky Night: The Legend of Clardeth takes place in our modern (20th century) with Earl, who is eleven, who takes a rare piece of jewelry from his next door neighbors house but then later finds out its cursed which lands him in big trouble with a legend surrounding him.


The ending is where the witch wants her jewelry back from Earl that he stole. Eventually he has to confront her just as the legend suggest.

About The Author

Rochelle Young resides in Chicago. While growing up and attending high school, she began to have an interest in creative writing. It was at that time that her teacher Mr. Shapiro encouraged her to attend a few classes where she later signed up. During the years she progressed and began writing short stories. She enjoyed it so much that she excelled and began collaborating with other writers who enjoyed her passion. Soon after that she was acting and writing plays. Rochelle's fond memories of Halloween and high school are what lead her to write a ghostly tale for young readers.
