Tillitz after 12 years of pounding out briefs in the prison law library finds a loophole. He files an ancient writ of audita querela and is granted request for resentencing. On September 19, 2008 after serving 12 years and 22 days of a 30-year sentence he is resentenced to time served. He goes home.
