    What We Liked

    - Zombies!
    - Great dialogue;
    - Unique twist on popular genre;
    - Gory with a large body count;
    - Successfully combines comedy and horror;
    - Zombies are always a good bet at the box office. Adding in the antics of drunken man babies
    and a Chinese plot to take over the world cement this as an instant cult classic;
    - This could work as a limited series as it is currently written, or it could be expanded (similar
    to The Walking Dead) to see how things play out once the survivors make it to safety.

    Synopsis

    Charlie Campbell is down on his luck. He’s balding, 35, working as a substitute teacher, and not a very good one at that. He doesn’t have many prospects and he is usually drunk. The one thing he has to look forward to is a night out with his college friends as they prepare a bachelor party as a send-off to Blake, a stock broker and one of the gang.

    Comprising the bachelor party is Trent, a dirty cop; Smokey, an artist who is perpetually stoned; Gay Mike, who is most likely straight, but always couches things with gay overtones; Left Nut aka Matt Tucker, a wild card who was struck by lightning which turned his hair white and obliterated one of his testicles; Jim, Charlie’s mild-mannered married best friend who is expecting his first child with his wife, Cindy; Big Rob, a large mixed martial artist; Vidu, their Sri Lankan counterpart; Cliff, Blake’s overdressed friend, and some of Blake’s other work colleagues.

    Drugs, alcohol, strippers, and prostitutes are part of the evening’s antics.

    When the gang awakes from their wild night of partying, they are met with a harsh reality. The zombie apocalypse has arrived, and they are some of the only survivors. They hole up in an apartment, continuing to party endlessly and hope for survival. With no help coming for them, the guys have to figure things out for themselves.

    Meanwhile, Air Force One is flying high above the United States. Senator Sanders, the acting President, who was way down on the chain, took over after all the others were turned into zombies or killed. While in the air, he is getting briefed on the situation on the ground. He learns that a foreign adversary has created the zombie plague and let it loose in United States. China is most likely the culprit. The Chinese have lost their lands due to climate change so they want to kill the population of the United States and take over. President Sanders gives orders to evacuate all the deployed troops and they will annex part of Mexico as a command point.

    Several of the friends succumb to the zombie disease. As zombies overrun the city, and the Chinese military invasion ensues, the surviving friends are forced to flee. They leave the city on ATVs in an attempt to join up with other survivors in a nearby town.
