Short Summary

The Kerrisdale Garden Club is teetering on the brink of disaster. That is until a not-so-mysterious stranger appears at their weekly meeting and things descend into a cacophony of star-struck chaos. For one member the stranger’s unexpected appearance will dig up painful memories from the past.

An overnight fire erupts at Kate's Bakes. Asleep inside is the bakery owner, Kate Freitag. She is rescued and dragged from the impending disaster at the last minute by her ex-friend Sophia. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes their once dying friendship takes on a new life.
