    Brief

In a world where all needs are fulfilled by the government, traveling through time for mortal combat has become a pass time. When his estranged partner is left for dead in the ancient past, a warrior must find it in himself to recuse him before it is too late.

    What We Liked

    - The introduction into quantum theory is interesting. The ancient time travel destinations where warriors seek past combat practices for recreation is an ambitious idea as well.
    - Film: The story seems most suited to a feature film adaptation. The special period settings, costumes, weapons, etc. are perfect for the big screen. It is quite an ambitious and cinematic storyline in general and would require a feature style budget to accommodate its needs.
    - TV: This could be adapted for a television series. Once the rescue happens successfully, the characters are left wide open to experience many other time traveling storylines.
    - Key points: Strong female lead; Strong action scenes with a large body count; Popular science fiction/fantasy genre; Potential franchise or series opportunity; Ambitious in scope

    Synopsis

In a setting not too far into the future, all the basic needs of humankind are fulfilled by the Republic. Some citizens find themselves despairing at the lack of stakes in life and suicide has become a problem. In an effort to address the need for stimulus, quantum theory is used to develop time travel technology that allows people to travel back into ancient history to participate in the bloody battles of the past.

Logan and his best friend Dawson are warriors who take advantage of time travel tourism and “bounce” into the past to join warriors on the battlefields in mortal combat. They both display courage and honor during the battles. However, in a disastrous misunderstanding, Dawson believes that Logan deserted him in his hour of need. Logan is shunned by Dawson and his reputation in the warrior guild is badly sullied.

Logan starts to spiral out of control, but is soon rescued by a wealthy and beautiful woman named Maya. They fall in love and she nurses him back to health. When Logan hears that Dawson has not returned from his latest bounce and presumed dead, Logan wants to attempt a rescue. Teaming up with Keagan, the weapons master, and Rebecca, a talented female warrior, Logan train for the mission. Logan risks his life to save his friend from a double crossing brut called Arthos as well as the Roman soldiers who have enslaved him.
