Development Pitch

The book describes in detail a number of very different people in different situations. The action takes place in a number of different countries, several of which are described in detail. Each of the characters is involved in a personal problem and the events which occur in their lives turn out to be providential in solving their problems. As each one reveals something of themselves, sometimes tragic, they also point to a mysterious destination at the end of their journeys. For many today who are seeking a meaning to life, the destination of Eziat seems to provide some sort of answer to their question, but the reader is still left with a partial question mark which he or she is challenged to resolve in their own thinking. Because it is descriptive of several different places in the world, and several different people, it could come across as a good film adaptation.
