The Obsession of Doctor Pendergrass is the story of a surgeon in London, England. Working at Saint Bartholomew's hospital in 1888 he sees first hand the horrible affects of crime perpetrated against the city's law abiding citizens. Scotland Yard had no idea what they would do about the rising crime rate, but Pendergrass knew exactly what he intended to do. Pendergrass donned his coat and hat, picked up his prize walking cane, and slipped into the shadows of London's backstreets and alleys. Some villains have gone missing, and London's criminal element is starting to get worried.
