Logline

“Death Boards” is a story of a serial killer but with a twist and then a twist within the twist. After the strangulation death of a young mother – the wife of the local DA’s best friend - in a department store dressing room, a full court search is on by the police. After fighting through one frustration after another, the police eventually learn the identity of the killer but don’t have sufficient evidence in the eyes of a judge to secure a signed arrest warrant. Making matters even more difficult, the suspected serial killer is the adopted Vietnamese son of a popular U.S. Senator, a war hero and possibly the next U.S. Attorney General. The serial killer periodically mocks the police, who continue their efforts to gather evidence, always careful to tread lightly because of the suspect’s father. The killer continues to evaluate potential victims until, without realizing it, he selects a woman who is herself a serial killer and who, with the help of her silent partner, has targeted him. Neither killer realizes their counterpart killer has them in their sights.
