The Ropewalk is about two teachers who are cut off by storms at a remote boarding school on the coast of Maine. The dormitory, an old ropewalk from the 18th century, is huge and poorly lighted, and the two must confront the reality that they are not alone in the building. But they are totally unprepared for what they find, and the discovery could change the history of New England forever.
