    Accuracy of Book Profile

    The book profile is accurate.

    Draw of Story

Mick's condition is an interesting hook.

    Possible Drawbacks

There are a bewildering amount of characters and a huge body count. It's impossible to develop any sort of understanding or empathy with the characters since no connection is made with them.

    Use of Special Effects

THE STORY RELIES A LITTLE BIT ON SPECIAL EFFECTS

    Primary Hook of Story

The woefully underused horror elements are a grounding factor of the "story".

    Fanbase Potential

Without any connection made with the characters, it's hard to see that there would be a large fan base. There is a lot of blood and gore, but it just seems meaningless.

    Awards Potential

This isn't developed enough to make an adaptation that would be of Awards caliber.

    Envisioned Budget

    LARGE BUDGET

    What’s New About the Story

Aliens, mummies, ghosts and leprechauns all make an appearance in this original book. However, connecting these with the human characters needs to happen before the full potential is reached.

    Lead Characters

The characters must have been introduced in a previous book and not carried over. There isn't enough character development in this installment to make a standout.

    Uniqueness of Story

This can't exist on its own as a stand alone. Plot and character development is needed.

    Possible Formats

    Film: Indie

    Analyst Recommendation

    WORK IN PROGRESS

    Justification

The main character simply bookends gory murders of seemingly random characters. The story isn't developed and neither are the characters.

    Tips for Improvement

This would need to be created as more of a stand alone piece to be considered. It is expected that the reader is familiar with the characters and story from a previous book. When that is not the case, there is no interest for the reader.

    Brief

On Halloween night an ancient curse plays out in murderous detail as one man has until midnight to stop it and save Ireland.

    What We Liked

The supernatural aspects are interesting and could be incorporated into a fully developed story.

Film: A film that focuses on the supernatural would be interesting, especially when paired with major plot and character development.

TV: The story can be knitted together from the previous book with some serious character development to create a television series.

    Key points:
    1. Mummies
    2. Ghosts
    3. Aliens
    4. Leprechauns
    5. Franchise potential

    Synopsis

It is Halloween night in Dublin Woods. Mick has been shot and is in a cave with two broken legs and punctured lungs. He has been tricked and nearly killed by McArthur who has become murderously possessed. He is working with a bunch of killers from the local mental hospital, also possessed by aliens. They go on a homicidal rampage through the forest. McArthur has already killed Mick’s two brothers and Mick has to overcome tremendous odds to stay alive.

Halloween has opened a door for an evil Egyptian mummy in possession of a magic four leaf clover and the ghost of Cornelius, a man with a black heart, to bring about a curse. Whichever supernatural being can bring both four leaf clovers together will heighten their powers and be able to take over Ireland.

McArthur, who kills his own son, is ultimately killed by his wife, Wendy. However, the many others from the mental hospital continue their murderous crusade killing everyone on their path in the woods. Many of police officers, who are trying to bring law and order back to the woods, lose their lives as well.

Mick is aided by the ghosts of his murdered brothers. His brother, Henry, is able to travel to a cave where he is presented with a four leaf clover by a Leprechaun. He brings the artifact back to Mick. Though Mick is suspected of being a part of the murders, he is able to convince the authorities that he is innocent and must be set free to stop the curse.

Mick convinces the authorities to let him try even though his injuries make it seem unlikely that he will be successful. Miraculously, Mick is able to remove the second four leaf clover from the mummy’s heart and place the two artifacts together. He is instantly healed and the curse is broken. Cornelius and the mummy are rendered powerless. With the curse stopped, Dublin is saved just in the nick of time before Halloween is over. Years later, Mick tells his grandson the story and shows him the four leaf clovers as proof. With his wisdom imparted, Mick passes away soon after.
