Development Pitch

Love or Baseball? is not your typical story. It is funny, sad, inspirational and complex. It's not just about love, it's not just about baseball, it's about life. The book takes you on a powerful emotional journey, and a movie adaptation has the potential to do the same. The story is very character driven, and by the end, the viewer will feel like the characters are a part of their family. They will be able to relate on a deep level, and it will be a story/movie they will never forget. The movie also has the potential to change people's lives, and to inspire change in the lives of professional athletes, and professional sports in general. The movie will be a vivid inside look on the, sometimes, unglamorous journey that a professional baseball player has to take in order to make it. It will show the impact it has on family, on friends, and on loving relationships. Most of all, it will show the impact that it can have on the athlete himself. This movie will give a glimpse into the not-so-fairy-tale experiences that many professional athletes have. This movie can show something that is often not talked about, and often not shown for all to see. Baseball has a large audience worldwide, and this movie is about much more than baseball. Showing something that doesn't often get shown can have a significant impact on audiences, and it can promote change. That's what Love or Baseball? is all about, and that's why it should be chosen to be made into a movie.
