Short Summary

A young woman is befriended by an Egyptian med student also on the dig. They find canopic jars in one of the tombs which contain the cells of an ancient king. The med student persuades her to allow him to implant some of the cells in her womb and she eventually gives birth to an ancient Pharaoh.

The "ancient" Pharaoh grows up and attempts to unify the Arab world. Hidden from his mother since birth, he's curious about her. After learning that she was Jewish, he expands his efforts to bring peace to the Arab nations and Israel, which doesn't fare well with certain agendas.
