Short Summary

Samantha, a member of the US Olympic team, and Henri, and expatriated wine merchant, meet at the 1936 Olympic Games. A members of the French Resistance, Henri is arrested and tortured by Claus Barbie's henchman, Henrich. Samantha aids in his escape, but she feels her naivety has betrayed him.


She confesses her betrayal to Henri, but still returns with him to fight with their friends from the catacombs and into the very streets of Paris. In fighting the enemies of France, they learn how much they have always meant to each other.
