Short Summary
A jazz connoisseur watches with apprehension as a brash young rapper moves into his building. A small time drug dealer finds power in a little rock unfortunately he powerless to control his tongue An escort finds love in the unlikeliest of places. A rehabilitated writer returns back to Harlem the place where his past and present collide.
Each story ends with the characters confronting the issues which they avoided or desired. The jazz connoisseur comes to grips with change, the rehabilitated writer gives in to temptation, the escort feels love, and the drug dealer feels the wrath of power.
