Short Summary
Rose Hawthorne moves to Whitmore Lake, Michigan with her family. And she sees it as a chance to change her life around and grow. But with Thomas Williams in her life now, she tries to deny her feelings for him until she's had enough. Accepting her heart falling for him, she begins to sense change.
After catching Thomas with a Vampire he used to be entangled with, she's heartbroken. Jackson (another Vampire) tracks her down again, and makes her meet her doom. At least she thought so until the tides send her upon Lycan land - a no-Vampire territory.

Development Pitch
Rose is a part of me who goes through some tough and traumatic experiences I've gone through as a teenager, especially when I've come from a very strict Arab-American Muslim household - I've been proudly ex-Muslim for over 5 years now. I've been in a forbidden (he was a Catholic), true love once and went against all odds to get that love by defying my father and family. In the end, that true love broke me entirely. But I grew from it. Rose will eventually too. All in all, she'll go through one helluva journey in fighting for what she wants and believes in while also discovering who she is at the same time just as I have. She'll also realize that when one grows, things get easier. Life gets easier. I see my book more portrayed as a film than a TV series. Because it's easier to get the idea across - plus I'm more of a movie gal. I don't intend the book to be religious in any sort of way - hence why there's no religion in the book. But for anyone who's going or gone through similar experiences, I want them to see and know that things can't and won't always be the same and that it's okay to go beyond family barriers. It's okay to break certain rules. It's a scary lesson, but growth will come from it all as well as forgiveness.
