Development Pitch

SADE ON THE WALL is a suspenseful contemporary Young Adult story narrated in the fresh voice of teen girl Sade. It is well-suited to be adapted as a limited TV series or movie. It carries universal appeal to both teen and adult audiences, and addresses contemporary issues such as LGBT parents, being young and black in America, and teenage substance abuse. It is a cautionary tale of young female friendships, growing up, and overcoming tragedy. SADE ON THE WALL is similar to HBO's Euphoria and Freeform's Recovery Road.
