Development Pitch

A Serenade with Beauty: A Kurdish Love Story is set in Tampa, Florida in present-day and inspired by true events where Middle Eastern culture meets the western culture. It's a fake arranged marriage meant to pacify old ideals with an interwoven epic love story between Ram and Mia which transitions into the modern-day. It's an emotional, human drama that will involve the heart and explore deeper love. Ram's uncle from Iran wants his older brother to marry, but Javad isn't interested after losing his wife in a tragic gunfight (in Iran) five years earlier. He commissions Ram to find him a fake fiancee with the hope of convincing his uncle that he is happy. But Ram falls in love with Mia.
