Elisabeth Tyler directed the short film If The Shoe Fits, which cracked audiences up at the Angelica Film Center and dozens of film festivals. Tyler is the author of numerous award-winning screenplays and two novels. Her historical drama screenplay, Lilith, was a semi finalist in the Scriptapalooza Screenwriting Competition while her thriller, Under the June Moon, was a finalist for the Page International Screenwriting Award. She won a mentorship in the October 2017 Rutgers University Council on Children’s Literature program with her middle-grade fantasy adventure novel, Weavers of the Great Light Way: Finding Liberty. She is an active member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
While crafting her own stories, Tyler has worked alongside notable feature directors Spike Lee, Morten Tyldum and Tom Hooper, as well as many talented actors (Denzel Washington, Hugh Grant, Julianne Moore, Tim Roth, Alec Baldwin, Rosario Dawson, James Caan and Jeanne Tripplehorn) as a Script Supervisor in film and television. She is a graduate of Fordham University with a degree in Communications
