Development Pitch
My book was selfpublished by Matador in 2015. It is a historical fiction with some real stories, my late husband told me about when he was living in the East End of London. I visited the area with him and I felt strongly to write a book about it. I could visualise the story for a film.My first review said "I couldn't wsit to see a film about it". I had radio interviews with Radio Europe and in Brighton studio. I also have made an audio book narrated by an actor with a selection of music accompanying the story. It also includes Princess Elizabeth's speech about the evacuation. I do television extra for film and I am hoping that someone will be interested in my book and make a film about it. I met Benedict Camberbatch, I can imagine him to play Richard. He has my book. I can also see Jason Statham to play Billy. It is a very powerful story and it would make a great entertaining film with a lot of emotion including sadness learning about the reality of the war. The historical society has given me a good review. There is also exciting parts sexy bits in the story. Suspense at end. Who did what and how he gets away with it. I shall look forward hearing from you. It is so exciting ! Thank you.
