Books & Brothers with a Purpose: Those we rescue, really rescue us. It started with a simple trip to the woods, like most weekend mornings. It turned into a series of children’s books and affiliations with local non-profit organizations. Therapy Dogs, Max & Tucker, Australian Shepherd brothers, were doing what they enjoy most: playing in the woods and creeks of Northern Virginia when they came across a deer which had been stranded after a heavy rain. With the help of their Daddy, Max & Tucker rescued the deer and watched over her until she was strong enough to go on her way. This true story, which occurred in the Spring of 2017, is captured in Deer Oh Deer: A Max & Tucker Adventure, the second book in the Max & Tucker Adventure Series (Lily & Lucy is the first and it is the true story of how Max & Tucker rescued two abandoned puppies.) Proceeds will be donated to the Wildlife Rescue League of Falls Church, VA.
