Short Summary

In the early 1900s, two young men are attracted to the Amazon with dreams of riches. Alan Reid, hardened by the streets of San Antonio, and Julian Welch, a kind-hearted Englishman. New York is their final destination. Christel, the sole heiress to their fortune, is registered in an orphanage.

The realization of who Christel was and the effervescence of the 1970s prove a challenging obstacle for Christel’s new life away from the shady aspects of her childhood. Wealthy, young, and hungry for life, she climbs the ladder of success to become a stunning symbol of humanitarian achievement.

Development Pitch

A Goddess Among Men is a thrilling journey that evolves from two men building an empire to one’s daughter as she endures twisted horrors. There's a patent cinematic quality to the story that would make it great for a TV series. The story is fluid and compelling, with imagery that grips the imagination of the reader, transporting them to unique places in a fascinating tale of derring-do in the untamed wilds of the Amazon and 1970s New York. A Goddess Among Men is, above all, a tribute to women's resilience and their rightful place in the world.
