    What We Liked

    - Great hook - A wine club that solves mysteries has vast comedic potential and is something
    we haven't seen before;

    - Definitely franchise or TV series potential.

    Synopsis

Mid 30's Annie “Halsey” Hall spends her days sipping wine with the ladies of the Rose Avenue Wine
Club, but the fun turns to intrigue when a small plane crashes at a local airport just minutes away.
Charlie, a friend, was the pilot. Drugs were found inside the crashed plane addressed to Halsey's best
friend Sally, and the women have no choice but to get involved, thus sending the club from gossip to
    detective work.
The ladies rush to the hospital to meet Charlie. It becomes clear that he had no idea he was flying
narcotics. He was just told it was cargo from a local restaurant. The women go there and meet Britt.
She's a new waitress who just moved up from San Diego. They try to ask her for a bit of information
but are unable to get anything promising. As the girls are leaving, they run into Jeb, a retired doctor.
He is acting as if he's been drugged, and can't seem to remember the events of the day.

When Jonas, a young mechanic who works at the airport, is found murdered, the plot thickens.
Halsey decides to go to the aquarium to try and learn more about the fish that was stuffed with the
drugs. She figures if she could learn the origin, she might have a shot at figuring out where this came
from. She's not wrong - turns out the fish can only be found in Nicaragua.
The girls take an impromptu trip to San Diego where they meet a waitress named Chloe. She is quick
to cut off the conversation when she is asked about a certain fish on the menu. Very fishy indeed.
They also learn that Jonas has a pilot's license, but only in Nicaragua. The same place where you can
    find the drug packed fish.
The women concoct a plan to fake a drug delivery at the airport and see who ""bites"" at the cargo
bringing brought in. They call in Charlie, the pilot, and he is down to help.
The women all wait while the plane lands. Rusty, an employee they previously spoke to, comes
rushing out to get the cargo - and then, with hands up, admits that he was involved, but not the
mastermind. Chloe and Britt, actually sisters, were helping Jonas, the leader, deliver drugs into the US.
Jeb, the doctor, was being blackmailed into helping, in order to get medicine for the inner city youth.
When he tried to quit, Jonas fought him, causing Jeb to stab Jonas with the drug for self-defense,
    killing him. Mystery solved.
