For the eight passengers of Bus 28, bound for Chicago, life is about to take an unexpected detour. An otherwise dreary overnight trip suddenly becomes a struggle for survival against a menace that cannot be stopped and is determined to hunt each passenger down and feed on them. The passengers must either find a way to fight back against a pack of carnivorous winged beasts who appear indestructible or escape. Faced with certain doom, the group’s last chance of survival lies in the hands of a diminutive and reclusive fellow passenger who harbors a terrible secret---Martin Dorian

Short Summary

An overnight bus trip soon turns into a fight for survival when the driver diverts to a rural route to avoid a storm and takes them to a remote Iowa town where the local sheriff and his deputies have made a terrible pact with demonic “hunters” in exchange for their own survival.

The passengers arm themselves with homemade fire bombs & get to a barn where they were initially brought. But their hopes are crushed when the sheriff and his deputies arrive at the barn and allow the five winged beasts to feast. But Martin reveals that he’s also a monster and destroys the beasts.
