When she has the time to prepare vengeance that her two ex-lovers do not expect, her revenge becomes a dish that is more satisfying when she serves it cold. What begins as a love triangle over time evolves into a scorned woman’s ultimate revenge

Short Summary

Three days before her murder, ANDREA FRANCIS writes in her diary how the two men, MAX ROARKE and ROBBY TRASK, she has loved since she was 17 crashed her engagement party, tossed her fiancée into the swimming pool and then abducted her. She admits she saw it not as an abduction but as a rescue.

She looked first at Max then at Robby, “I thought you should know, three can play your game. And the score? My murder made it 15 – Love. The trial and conviction: 30 – Love. Your visit to my dead body: 40 – Love. And now this,” she glanced up at the gallows. “I believe this is Game, Set and Match.”

Development Pitch

I will let the reviewers make the case for a TV Miniseries. “The premise of this story is unique and compelling, with deep and complex relationships that are unique and interesting. The novel walks the line between comedy and drama with an element of fantasy and a dose of macabre at the end. It’s an interesting story that at times is a fun romp through the world of the super-rich and at other times is a touching story about the cost of having all that money. Overall, this is a fresh story that’s written in a visual way. It’s easy to imagine this novel getting adapted into a television show.” Brian Smith---Monument “This is much more than a suspenseful murder mystery. With its laugh-out-loud dialogue and memorable characters, it is a story that stays in the reader’s mind even after it has been set down. Mystery, Suspense, A Love Story and Wit all in one memorable package.” Luke Armstrong Writer’s Digest “Revenge Served Cold is not your usual romance or murder mystery, but a delightful romp through psyches and motivations. It adds unexpected dashes of humor into conversations and revelations and considers the consequences of thwarted love and a focus on evening the score. Diane Donavon -Midwest Book Review “Holy crap on a cracker, was that a crazy ride!! The twisted and diabolical things the people in this book did to each other was unreal. This was one of the 2 best books I’ve read in the last 2 years. Would make a great movie.” H. Birch Hidden Gems

About The Author

About my current novel: Revenge Served Cold. I’ve written 6 other books, this one, I think, is my best so far. While it’s said that Flaubert’s Madame Bovary took 13 years to write, I took 52 years. The gestation began my senior year in high school in Bay Village, Ohio and grew over the years as I returned to it – between other writing and film directing – to expand and improve. I think the finished product is, at the very least, entertaining. The reviews have been excellent. About other efforts: I have published four fiction and two non-fiction books (one of which - What Car Dealers Won’t Tell You - Plume) topped 100,000 sales and I have ghost written two biographies. I’ve had six of my short stories published in niche publications. I’ve produced two off-Broadway plays and written and directed one for regional theater (The Bundling Bed). I’ve written, directed and even personally shot six documentaries, one of which, The Way Back, won first prize in the American Film Festival. Bob Ford
