After forty-five years of working at Brackmeyer Sweets, one of the largest factories in all of Germany, master pastry chef -extraordinaire, Henry Peppermint Twist, is forced to retire by its evil new president, Charles B. Brackmeyer jr., and live out his days in a retirement home in the Countryside

Henry's stay in the retirement home is a short one when he meets a peculiar little man (an elf) who leads him, and others before, to a place faeries and magic abound, where their sweetest, most tastiest dreams come true. A place where you never, ever grow older: a place called the Sweet Lands.
