Short Summary

Ebui, a young tribal girl, studies to become a shaman for her village but her society only deems males as worthy of the job. Her rebellious nature gets her exiled from her village. But when tragedy strikes, she must return home and weather the storm of her own cursed prophecies to lead her people.

Ebui, despite all her efforts, is faced with the destruction of her village. Rather than live as the enemy tribe leader's wife, she ends her own life. This end brings about a new life for her in the world beyond. As an angel she gets caught up in a plot to overthrow the ruler of the realm.

Development Pitch

Fate's Apotheosis is an exploration of the Ainu culture, traditions and the mentality of the people in that ancient society. I specifically designed this book in a way that the beliefs and mysticism are neither confirmed nor denied by the story. Ebui herself is a unique protagonist because her gift of clairvoyance is a curse and prophecies take on a bleak and ominous role. This book shows that even in a hopeless situation we can still decide how we meet our destiny. It's an exploration of one character from the Of the Exps series, but this story is absolutely a complete story in and of itself. If you're looking for a heartfelt historical tragedy with dynamic themes, then Fate's Apotheosis is your destiny.
