What happens after I upload my story?
Once you upload your story, it will enter our system and go through our curation process.
We use a combination of machine algorithms and real human readers to find the best stories.
Your book or script will then be catalogued and available in our database.
How does the algorithm work?
Upon submission, our algorithms analyze each story across multiple categories,
and to rank stories according to their strengths, weaknesses, and potential for on-screen success.
After that, our expert readers review stories that have the most potential for being made into a movie or TV show.
When can I expect to hear from you?
The content that producers and studios look for is constantly changing, therefore we cannot predict when
and if your book will be chosen - but it will be available in our library for the duration of your subscription.
It may appear on lists at anytime, depending on the criteria being searched.
What is a Pitch Page?
Pitch Pages are high-level summaries of important book details that help producers
and studios review your story and decide if they want to dig deeper into your story.
What is the Pitch Page by TaleFlick?
This is a one-page sheet summarizing the story in a Film/TV industry standard format,
including a section called 'Development Notes'. This will maximize your story’s opportunity for
Film/TV adaptation consideration. It is a final product and not a back-and-forth process. The book or script will
be read in its entirety and TaleFlick will create the Pitch Page for you.
What is the Marketplace?
The TaleFlick Marketplace is where authors can showcase their books/scripts to other users,
like producers, scriptwriters, publishers, and service providers. Being part of the marketplace
may increase an author's chances of their book being viewed.
Is uploading my story secure?
Maintaining the security and privacy of our users' data is our utmost concern at TaleFlick
-- our success and credibility depend on it. All data, including any stories, you enter into
TaleFlick remains yours, and we are committed to ensuring that your data is not seen
by anyone who should not see it. TaleFlick's data is encrypted both when it is sent
to and from our servers, submitted stories get watermarked, and any human readers sign
NDAs to ensure you and TaleFlick are protected. To protect your content in transit,
TaleFlick uses 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption and uses 256-bit AES encryption when sitting
in our servers.
