Sharon M. Jones, MA, AMFT is a Marriage Family Therapist/Life Coach & Christian Counselor. She is the executive director of New Insight Christian Counseling, LLC, a faith-based Christian counseling practice. She also provides counseling services within her local church. Sharon travels internationally as a professional motivational speaker, workshop lecturer. Sharon was born in Jamaica, West Indies, raised in England, the USA and Africa, by her adopted parents. Sharon is married to a navy veteran and pastor. They have been married for 34 years and have 4 adult children, and 3 grandchildren. Sharon earned her BA degree in Maternal Child Health and has worked as a licensed International Board Certified lactation Consultant, workshop presenter and parenting educator. She earned dual MA Degrees in counseling psychology, forensic psychology and a pastoral counseling certification. She is currently completing her PhD. in Social Justice & Higher educational leadership. Sharon is developing a family wellness Center in Jamaica which will serve 69,000+ individuals. The Margaret Emily Spence family wellness center, named after her great grandmother who had a vision for building a children’s clinic in Jamaica to meet the needs of her local community, but the torch was passed to her great granddaughter. Completion is scheduled for September 2019. For fun, she enjoys family, traveling, cooking, writing, singing, classic movies and crossword puzzles.
