Brief
Emma and Russell are a young couple in love but they are not in sync with how they see their future. Emma decides they need to take a 6 months break to live their own lives and reevaluate their relationship. Emma begins working with Damien, a veteran with severe PTSD and Russell starts a relationship with Pan, helping her with her business. Emma and Russell reunite and bond over the deaths of both Damien and Pam.

The book does accurately reflect the book, except it mentioned the characters meet two angelic characters. The two characters they meet are normal people with serious health and/or mental issues. They influence Emma and Russell but not in a momentous way.
Draw of Story
The story exhibits a long term relationship in a realistic way as opposed to the idyllic way of many romantic comedies. The characters have a good relationship but are not sure if their wants and needs match up. They take a break and each have their own experiences before coming back together and deciding to recommit to each other. They were two individuals that made healthy decisions for themselves and their relationship.
Possible Drawbacks
The writing and dialog were hard to digest. The way it is worded sounds like an attempt to mimic good writing. It is disjointed and rudimentary. The story has potential but would need an experienced writer to polish it.

They aren't having any crazy experiences, just normal life growth.
