Dusty Scholl had it all together. He had a lovely wife, a beautiful daughter and an incredible hockey career. Fate, in the form of a motorcycle gang, had other plans and, after a nasty run-in with them which led to the death of his wife and daughter and a subsequent prison term, Dusty tries to hide out in rural Saskatchewan where his anonymity is questioned every day. His popularity and charisma is too great to cover up and he soon finds himself on the road to a showdown with the leader of the bike gang. Before that though, he coaches the high school football team, joins a rock band, joins the local hockey team and finds a wife to replace the one the bikers killed. Can he survive or will he have to run for his life?

Dusty runs into a bike gang that lost a lot of money betting on his team in the playoffs. The gang follows Dusty and his family to their summer home where they rape and murder his wife and daughter. Dusty kills them and spends many years in jail, being moved to avoid the rest of the gang.
