About The Author

Les tried his best to walk the line between his wife and parents wishes to abide by the rules of the faith-healing, cult-like church he was raised in, and a life of freedom to pursue his passion of hunting and fishing. He created Schmidt Auto Repairs in a tiny back alley garage in Philadelphia. Five years later, with 12 employees and massive headaches and stress, his dream had become a monster. A customer asked to meet him alone in the shop. "What do you really want and how much money will it take?" The offer was too good to refuse, and Les became a major methamphetamine manufacturer. The money was even greater than Curt had promised, Les sold his business and purchased a 55 acre horse farm. For five years he and his second wife Alana enjoyed the good life fox hunting and socializing, until the money ran out and they went back to the well. This time the feds had upped their game on monitoring illegal labs, and the DEA raided the lab in the Pennsylvania hills. Eventually Les spent 6 years in 5 federal prisons an 12 county jails. The night of his second arrest, sitting on a hard bunk in a cold, dark cell of the Philadelphia Roundhouse, Les found 7 reasons to get right with God, family and country. For the last 34 years Les has been a successful body shop manager in automotive dealerships. He lives in Florida with Carolyn, his wife of 19 years, is the author of 2 books, an industry consultant, life coach and teleseminar host.
