As an SS officer, Blaz' belief in the Reich and its ideals is absolute. His young daughter, 6 year old Cora, is desperate for her father's love but is constantly passed over as he is consumed by his hope for a son. When a boy is finally born, tragedy will make them both question all they believe. "Beneath the Universe" asks not only how a person can be taught to hate but how one taught to hate can learn to love.

Short Summary
