Accuracy of Book Profile
Yes, the book profile accurately reflects the book.
Draw of Story
The story begins with action sequence of a fighter's plane going down. He must eject from his aircraft and tries to hid from the Korean soldiers. He is captured by some local farmers and hides for years in Korea. It sets up the pace of the story from the beginning.
Possible Drawbacks
The story uses too much military jargon. There should be more laymen's terms because it bogs down the story. The book profile focuses on the SEAL team that goes in to rescue the hostages but they die half way through the story and there are no living hostages left. The bulk of the action resides with them and then it is mostly conference room situations where government officials are making a stand. The rescue should span throughout the entire story.
Use of Special Effects
THE STORY RELIES A LITTLE BIT ON SPECIAL EFFECTS
Primary Hook of Story
The hook is that a SEAL Team goes in the rescue some hostages in North Korea, but they fail and other actions must be taken to the stop Kim Jong On. I would watch this movie for the action. The subject matter is somewhat interesting but the point of view of the story is the same as any other war movie. Americans are good and the Koreans are bad. It would be more nuanced with gray areas, showing both sides realistically.
Fanbase Potential
This would not have a large fanbase as many war movies have not recently. The war movie genre garners critical acclaim rather than mass box office success.
Awards Potential
This could have awards potential with more character development. Movies about war, military and soldiers are gain critical acclaim and awards recognition when focusing on the characters and less on the war. This story focuses on the strategies and actions that stop North Korea and less on the people that make it happen.

What’s New About the Story
The story is not original, it does have some elements that are. Melanie is a female operative and a major part of the SEAL team. It would be more unique if she didn't have such a tragic and sexist storyline. Her rape history to being turned into a seductress working for the government has been seen many time before.
Lead Characters
There are many lead characters and none stand out. This story focuses on the events more than the character development. It is about the politics and doesn't dive deeply into the feelings and emotions of the characters. There are back stories on the SEAL Team but half of the story they are half dead and trying to survive their failed mission.
Uniqueness of Story
This is an average war story that has been told well. It needs to be updated for a modern audience. There were some outdated terms and themes used that would be criticized by today's viewers. Few things are black and white, including war and the story doesn't show multiple perspectives which would add depth. There should be more character development.

Analyst Recommendation
CONSIDER
Justification
This is a solid story told well. The action is exciting and the mix between the war in the field and the war fought in the office gives a balance to the story. There definitely could be more character development and focus on the emotional sides of war. It feels very political with little heart. It would be beneficial to see more females in this story as well as more positive perspectives of Koreans as the story takes place in Korea.
