Short Summary
ROGER LEGION, the head of a prestigious San Diego law firm, rules his lawyers with an iron fist, instilling in them a warrior mentality. Two of the attorneys, MIKE TANZEER and TED THEOPOLIS, plan and carry out the robbery of a drug dealer. At the same time, an insurance claims manager is murdered.
A former lawyer and mentor to Mike Tanzeer, PAUL CLIFFORD, blames Roger Legion for an accident that killed his family. An attempt to carjack Paul Clifford sends him into mental free fall. The carjacking turns into a hostage/SWAT standoff. All story lines come together in a violent resolution.

Development Pitch
Tony Soprano. Don Draper. Walter White. Ray Donovan. Now, they will be joined by Roger Legion. Legion is an insurance defense lawyer, who has never lost at trial. He believes the courtroom is an arena, where contestants engage in a bloodlust sport for victory. He teaches his attorneys to weaponize the facts and bludgeon their adversaries with them. He imparts his pearls of wisdom and leads them like a great general. He would die for any of his lawyers and expects the same from them. He is a man that fears nothing. Legion hates female attorneys and has the edge on most events in the courthouse. His mantra is “No one stands alone at this law firm.” Any lawyer is always backed up by 15 other lawyers. Adversaries must be vanquished and regret the day they came up against a Legion lawyer. His philosophy can be summed up: When you look in the mirror, if you don’t see my face – a mean, cold-hearted, merciless prick – you (will) never be successful as a lawyer. -Roger Legion Legion instills in his lawyers a warrior mentality, win-at-all-costs mentality. When this attitude is applied to a criminal endeavor, the results can be frightening. This is the journey that the viewer will take. When 2 lawyers at the Legion law firm decide to rob a drug dealer they will do whatever it takes. Even though Roger Legion is not involved, they proceed in an attempt to please their father figure with deadly and terrifying results. There is no good or evil, just various shades of gray.
