When an African American pastor's daughter who is battling cancer is about to receive a bone marrow transplant from her mother before she's killed in a traffic accident, the pastor has to convince the white man responsible for her death to donate to his daughter despite his racist views.



Short Summary

The pastor is trying to hold his life together. He gives a Sunday sermon and afterwards goes to the hospital to see his wife and daughter. The wife is all set for the transplant, but wants to go home to shower. While on her way home she is hit by an intoxicated driver that happens to be a racist. Furthermore, the man responsible is a bone marrow match.

The racist has had tragedy in his life. He lost his son. The pastor had been working together with the racist as a quid pro quo. They find out that a close associate of the racist murdered his son. Therefore, feeling betrayed he donates his marrow.
