Steven Barry Kaplan is a Jewish man who came to faith in Jesus! When Steven was 29, co-workers challenged Steven to consider Jesus as the Messiah. Steven filed for bankruptcy and cried out to God for direction in his life. Steven saw a vision of Jesus on August 5, 1992 and became a believer! Jesus healed Steven of bitterness, anger, love of money and alcoholism. Steven believes God speaks to him personally and told him to move from Long Island to Atlanta, Georgia and work at The Coca-Cola Company. In 1998 Steven was called to Jewish Outreach and began volunteering with different Jewish Mission organizations. In 2002, Steven went into full time ministry and has personally distributed over 500,000 Gospel materials, prayed with hundreds of Jews and Gentiles to receive Jesus, ministered in 28 countries personally witnessed to Larry King, Fran Drescher and Marty Allen. Steven has landed in wars, been thrown out of synagogues, been physically assaulted and identified in various Jewish publications. Steven's book, The Green Velvet Missionary (God stories from a Jewish believer) is a best seller, and made into a television program called The Green Velvet Missionary.
