Development Pitch

Victorian eloquence and dignity are reflected in a lowly journeyman's realization that great purpose touches his life through plights far greater than himself. A secret gentlemen's club, its mysterious purposes unknown, a gracious secretive patron and a close friend from upper management who's sudden disappearance may be rooted in the sinister. What mysteries hide within this club's walls? What shrouded procurements engage its members? An enigma wrapped in the dignities of a past age. A film, perhaps TV film, the target audience being those drawn to Downton Abbey, The Greatest Showman, Call the Midwife, Beecham House, Belgravia, Jamestown... The ubiquitous underdog ventures on a quest and through doing so realizes his life has great importance - a road many of us have walked down.
