This epic saga of historical fiction takes the viewer from the caves of France where Cathar's hide from the Church's army to Bristol and Bath, England for temorary safety. The second half of this fictional story with historical attention to actual events and people turns back to Europe as the last living person of four generations of a family returns to France to keep a promise to his beloved, and wise, Grandmere. The viewer meets Jongleur (French for Jongler) only long enough to hear his letter to the priest ,Father Simon, who raised him from a boy, hidden in plain sight by his Grandmere. The letter then becomes Jongleur's( and Grandmere's) narration of the four generations of the 'first daughters' .

Ending Description

Jongleur, and all the people in his life, have met their various fates head on, as many did in those troubled times. They lived and loved with equal passion, but they never gave in to apathy. They each were a beacon of hope. This saga shows we still have not changed, still there is hope.

Name: The first half of this saga find the main characters of Emmalena,a thirteen year old girl and Grandmere, both taken to safety in England by Sir Geoffrey, a Templar knight, after another knight has killed Emmalena's mother when the girl was a baby.
