About The Author

The author graduated in 1966 from Oakland Technical High, Oakland, California, and worked for the San Francisco Bay Naval Shipyard (Hunter’s Point) as a machinist ordnance, sheet metal worker and pipe fitter. The same year, he received his salvation at a revival meeting in Vallejo, California, and was baptized at the Church of God, Berkeley, California. In 1970, he was enlisted in the United States Army, Oakland, California. His duty assignments were Fort Huachuca, Arizona; Ft Ben Harrison, Indiana; RAAP, Radford, Virginia; Heidelberg, West Germany; and West Point Military Academy, West Point, New York. He left the US Army (1979) as a system analyst with an honorable discharge. In 1981, he acquired US Patent Invention (#4296768) for a dishwasher in San Jose, California. In 1992, the author was enlisted in Virginia Army National Guard, 29th Infantry for one year, Lynchburg, Virginia. He also worked at Central Virginia Training Center (CVTC), Madison Height, Virginia. In 1995, he published his first poem, Déjà Vu, The Poem, in Lynchburg, Virginia. His first book, The Old ’39 and the Eight Mice from Wisconsin, was pub¬lished in 2008 in Lynchburg, Virginia. From 1982 to 2017, the author lived in the following places: San Jose, California; El Paso, Texas; Cary, North Carolina; Charlottesville, Virginia; Lynchburg, Virginia; Forest, Virginia. Déjà Vu, The Story is the second book he has written and published.
