Short Summary

Deb has a breakdown of epic, legendary proportions as she was boarding a plane in 1989. As the engines started Deb felt her skin crawl with immobilizing fear. She was in a life or death situation: she had a choice, either get off the plane or die in her brand new Gucci Stilettos.

Becky manages to finally find Mr. Perfect only to discover he's been watching Deb the entire time at the conference. The story ends with the sisters returning home on a plane. Becky wakes up before landing and discovers her sister has been texting with Mr. Perfect. The story is open for a sequel.

Development Pitch

Louisiana Latte has compelling female voices and an engaging concept that would adapt beautifully into film. Louisiana Latte is based off true events growing up with my diva sister, Deb. The book is full of nonstop hilarious moments with unbelievable but true scenarios that you must read to believe! Louisiana Latte takes you on a hilarious ride of two sister’s going on a business trip to Louisiana, loaded with flashbacks from the 80’s. The sisters reminisce over their childhood experiences of how and why they became the women they are today. Back in 1989, at the age of 22, Deb was enrolled to become a commercial pilot. Somewhere between dating her yuppie fiancé and planning their wedding in Chicago, Deb developed claustrophobia—a fear of enclosed spaces—on the day they were to fly. I blame the yuppie. Deb couldn't get on a plane for love that day, but she could do it 20 years later for money. Money was worth dying for. Becky had two missions, to get her sister on the plane and to hunt down Mr. Perfect at the conference. She was determined her sister would find love and the happily ever after she deserves. Deb is lovable, gorgeous, confident and makes all men blush. She is notorious for giving out love advice to strangers, yet her own love life is always a disaster. Becky is relatable, reliable, and in a loving marriage with children. She is new age, natural and in no way a diva. Their differences is why women connect with the two sisters.

About The Author

I am an American author living in the United Kingdom. I have developed a modest following on social media within the past eight months with loyal fans. I have good standings with many literary blogs such as Silver Dagger Book Tours, whom I have toured with four times and developed a personal relationship with. I have also made quality relationships within the bookstagram community on Instagram. I am tremendously tenacious and extremely driven to see myself in a career as an author not a vanity author. I am constantly striving to improve my writing style and I do not stay in one genre. I started my own podcast, The Latte Talk to help promote my book Louisiana Latte, which attracted a lot of attention from both men and women on social media. I have done multiple interviews both live and written to help promote my books and build connections within the literary industry and my readers. Besides being an author of five books, I became my own marketing specialist using my social skills, repeatability, intelligence and friendly nature to connect with my audience. I currently live in England and will be attending the London Book Fair this March in hopes of connecting with publishers for my ongoing novels. Two of my cookbooks reached the Amazon Best Sellers List for #1 New Release in Tablesetting Cooking & Holiday Cooking in 2019. I have two books published with Austin Macauley publishers and three books self-published. I am a multi genre author ranging from fairy tales retold, to sci-fi to cookbooks. My debut novel was The Lady Raven: A Dark Cinderella Tale, which was published in 2017. The Lady Raven is for those who have an affinity for fairy tales retold with a link to witches, magic and the macabre. My second novel Louisiana Latte, a romance comedy was released February 28th, 2019. Louisiana Latte is a feel-good comedy that focuses on the bonds of sisters, and how audacious life can be when you have a diva for one! Besides writing fiction, I am also the author of my vegan holiday cookbook collection, A Very Vegan Halloween: The Witch's Cauldron & A Very Vegan Christmas: Mrs. Claus' Kitchen. Both books reached the Amazon Best Sellers List at #1 in New Release Holiday Cooking & Tablesetting Cooking. In addition to being an author I am a world traveler, having lived in three continents in the past fourteen years and visited more than twenty eight countries in that time. This experience has defined my writing in many intricate ways as well as molding my personal life. I am also a serious vegan, gardener, baker, wife and mother of two.
