Short Summary
Deb has a breakdown of epic, legendary proportions as she was boarding a plane in 1989. As the engines started Deb felt her skin crawl with immobilizing fear. She was in a life or death situation: she had a choice, either get off the plane or die in her brand new Gucci Stilettos.
Becky manages to finally find Mr. Perfect only to discover he's been watching Deb the entire time at the conference. The story ends with the sisters returning home on a plane. Becky wakes up before landing and discovers her sister has been texting with Mr. Perfect. The story is open for a sequel.

Development Pitch
Louisiana Latte has compelling female voices and an engaging concept that would adapt beautifully into film. Louisiana Latte is based off true events growing up with my diva sister, Deb. The book is full of nonstop hilarious moments with unbelievable but true scenarios that you must read to believe! Louisiana Latte takes you on a hilarious ride of two sister’s going on a business trip to Louisiana, loaded with flashbacks from the 80’s. The sisters reminisce over their childhood experiences of how and why they became the women they are today. Back in 1989, at the age of 22, Deb was enrolled to become a commercial pilot. Somewhere between dating her yuppie fiancé and planning their wedding in Chicago, Deb developed claustrophobia—a fear of enclosed spaces—on the day they were to fly. I blame the yuppie. Deb couldn't get on a plane for love that day, but she could do it 20 years later for money. Money was worth dying for. Becky had two missions, to get her sister on the plane and to hunt down Mr. Perfect at the conference. She was determined her sister would find love and the happily ever after she deserves. Deb is lovable, gorgeous, confident and makes all men blush. She is notorious for giving out love advice to strangers, yet her own love life is always a disaster. Becky is relatable, reliable, and in a loving marriage with children. She is new age, natural and in no way a diva. Their differences is why women connect with the two sisters.
