I've written an action thriller that I think might speak to you and I was hoping you would consider taking a look. Logline: A highly sought-after weapons-maker is the target of global assassins after her weapons are used to wipe out the clandestine operations of an African warlord who seeks payback. Synopsis: The lines of force are on a collision course. In a sophisticated gun shop/warehouse, a young, Female Engineer designs and builds exotic weaponry for special projects. In Africa, a Strongman possesses an old, large key that, if inserted into the right lock, might produce a method to control the most powerful man in the world—the President of the United States. The Chinese are interested in the “device” and have initiated their own acquisition protocol. U.S. Intelligence begins its own investigation. Violence is the order of the day, as the device is stolen, leaving the Strongman no choice but to use violence to retrieve it. Violence begets violence as several Weapons Builders are destroyed in the hunt—until only the Female Engineer is left. The Female Engineer will not retreat or hide. After narrowly avoiding death, she targets the Strongman’s henchmen for extreme annihilation. When the Chinese arrive, the female engineer must imagine a new way to destroy the predators from the East, without getting herself killed in the process. In the end, the Female Engineer is left standing. She possesses the device and a burning desire to settle accounts with the Strongman. PB
ACTION, SUSPENSE, THRILLER
When a mafia-like man sees his headquarters attacked and has an important device stolen, he decides to look for the person who provided the heavy weaponry to his enemies.
Authors Writing Style: GOOD
Franchise Potential: GOOD
Accuracy of Book Profile
It does depict the script properly.
Draw of Story
The dialogue drew my attention instantly. The first action scene, right at the beginning, also shows what we can expect from the movie.
The hunt for the right engineer can be somewhat repetitive, but the pace is good enough to prevent us from feeling bored.
Use of Special Effects
THE STORY RELIES HEAVILY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS
Primary Hook of Story
It's a well-written action script. It's not original, but it draws the attention until the very end. The lead is a strong/powerful woman, and I'd be excited to see this badass lady on screen.
I can see the protagonist having a large fanbase. She is a kind of female James Bond/Lara Croft type of girl who faces the enemy with no hesitation.
I don't think so. The writer would have to develop internal conflicts way further to gain Awards potential.
Similar Films/TV Series
LORD OF WAR - A MAN IS INSPIRED TO GO INTO THE ARMS TRADE, BECOMING ONE OF THE BIGGEST WEAPONRY PROVIDERS TO TERRORISTS AND ASSASSINS. NIKITA - A BADASS WOMAN, VERY GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES, IN THE CENTER OF AN ACTION NARRATIVE.
What’s New About the Story
A woman as the head of a weaponry trade business is somewhat unique.
The protagonist is a character who stands out. She obviously has feelings, she is beautiful and feminine, but she is not portrayed as a sensitive woman who needs love to be fulfilled or assistance to keep her business alive. She is a loner who gives full importance to her business and stands up for herself in the middle of a masculine environment.
Uniqueness of Story
Not a rare gem. To be improved, I believe we should get to know more about the characters and their goals.

It's a well-written action script. It's possible to recognize the unique voice of every character. The dialogue is engaging, the lines flow naturally and improve the pace of the narrative. The first scenes already start with action. The audience won't have to wait too long until the first explosion. The writer manages to sustain tension, building good scene actions. The protagonist stands out. She is an intelligent/ talented/ beautiful/ badass woman who draws our attention and makes us somehow root for her. She is the protagonist, but not a "good girl", as she sells exotic weapons to assassins, but this is what makes the character even more special. She doesn't have to be a good girl or someone who needs internal conflicts regarding her controversial job. The pace is good, the characters are well-designed, the narrative has a good structure that hooks us from the start. The theme could be further developed though. The way it is, it's just the story of a woman who sells weapons and has been hunted because of it. I'd like to see more of this story, a more complex theme that would make us reflect, think about it. I don't think the protagonist should have an internal conflict regarding her job or her lifestyle, but I do believe she could show more about her own self. We don't know much about her, we don't know about her dreams, her fears. Some developments are also not very clear, such as the "cartouche" myth that is widely addressed, but we don't fully get it, or which locker the key opens. The ending could provide more excitement as well. However, with the right development, I see the commercial potential of this story.
