Short Summary

Richland Stables is a one horse farm facing foreclosure. The family, including the MC, an 18 YO girl who makes money as an exercise rider at Keenland and, decide to breed their mare for the yearling sales. No one wants their horse and they are forced to race him on their own.

the MC must become the horse's trainer and jockey and they decide to try to win the biggest race of the year. "Little Red" and the MC win the big race in a 3 horse photo finish with one of the fastest times in the race's history.
