Draw of Story
The story begins with a sexy encounter between the two main characters. Harper is trying to infiltrate the Russian mob and meets Moreno, who is undercover as well. Sparks fly but quickly turn sour when they are forced to work together to accomplish the mission.
Possible Drawbacks
There were moments that felt unrealistic considering the stakes and what audiences know about the life of a spy. Most spy stories enforce the idea that they live a solitary existence with no contact with family or friends; too much danger. Moreno still sees her family and is the maid of honor in her sister's wedding while Harper sees his daughter as often as he can. There are some dangerous people coming for them but they resume civilian life regularly.

The hook is that Moreno and Harper are from two different government agencies that must work together to bring down the Russian mafia. The romance between the two characters would interest me. There are many endearing moments as well as classic action scenes.

This could have a large fanbase. Many action films where the characters fall in love have been appealing to large audiences. It has your classic bad guys, shooting sequences with some romance thrown in.

What’s New About the Story
There is nothing original about the story. There have been many spy action stories where romances blossoms between the characters. I could be more unique if the characters were more racially and culturally diverse as well as the villains. Russian mafia has been done as much as the Italian mafia. They could also be in different parts of the to make the story more unique as well.
Lead Characters
The lead characters stand out slightly because they have personal lives to worry about. Most times, characters who are spies have no ties to family or friends because of the danger by association. Moreno is a strong female lead but not uniquely so.
Uniqueness of Story
This is a solid action story. It has more heart than other spy thrillers because Harper is trying to be there for his daughter. Harper is shown as a dad and not just as a spy. There is personal conflicts for the characters outside of the romantic feeling for each other.

This story is a consider because it has all the elements of a good action film. It does not, however, break any new ground or introduce anything spectacular to the genre. The romance is sweet but the relationship and how there feelings develop is standard storytelling. It could work with a non-white cast and a unique location.
