Development Pitch

A Rags to riches story with a happy ending, The Reward is hopeful during this uncertain time. Many people find themselves in Chrissy's position today. As a short film, it would be easily produced in nearly any city in the US. The contemporary setting is relevant to the young people of today. A young woman who has lost her job, unemployment has run out, and is on the street trying to make enough to keep going, who happens to read something which changes her life for the better. Something which seems ridiculous, but at this point she is willing to try anything. It offers hope in this troubled world.
