Semper Fidelis is a story from WWII, based on the letters and journals from the true life characters. It is historically correct, even down to the lipstick color the girls wore. Love, and warmth abounds except for the war scenes, of course. It contains espionage, war, love, and how Americans endured during the war.

Short Summary

Joe leaves Kentucky to join the Marines. Virginia and Nellie leave Idaho to work at Douglas Aircraft in California. Virginia falls in love with a spy before finding out her true love is Joe, the Marine. The fun loving Sailor, Bob, finds Nellie during his stay on shore.


Jimmy, the spy, who still loves Virginia, ends up getting killed by Bob, the sailor, who in fact is involved in espionage himself. Bob marries Nellie, Joe remains fighting in the pacific, and the girls are left at camp pendleton with broken hearts waiting on their guys.
