Development Pitch

Lost and Found is Diane’s compelling story of being in a marriage that has lost love. As a mother of two, her dedication to keeping a family environment intact for her children leads her to live to a mundane life of quiet desperation. All that changes when her husband, Chuck becomes abusive and turns her life upside down. It becomes a constant struggle for Diane to keep hide the abuse from their children in hopes he will change and her life can return to normal. Diane loses the battle to keep her family together when her husband loses his grip on reality and things take a turn for the worse. Unsure of how her marriage became so volatile, she knows her best option is to take action and get a divorce. Diane quickly embraces the role of being a single parent and does her best to provide a healthy, loving home for her children, despite Chuck’s unprovoked anger and relentless attempts to turn their children against her. Diane manages to establish a sense of stability for her and her children when fate brings Jack into her life. Emotions that had been untapped for years come flooding back to Diane. The feelings she has for Jack can’t be denied and she lets down her guard and allows Jack into her life. As Diane and Jack discover their love for each other, Chuck refuses to accept the loss of Diane and does the unthinkable.

About The Author

As an incurable romantic Luchi Penna believes love is an unexplained experience that has no reason and cannot be controlled, but is that incredible feeling of excitement that new love brings and of poets write. He also believes love can fade if romance is not nutured. Yet all too often romance seems to get lost in the flurry of everyday activates of work or child-rearing. He writes in hopes of bringing awareness to those in love so they won’t take love for granted and to restore the faith in love to those that have lost love.
